Best Practices In Risk Mitigation Presented By 探花合集 At Internal Audit Summit
Somerset, N.J. 鈥 September 15, 2014 鈥 Charles Silvey, Vice President of Internal Audit and Finance Operations, 探花合集 Pharma Solutions, will moderate the Chief Audit Executive Workshop session at the upcoming Internal Audit Summit, to be hosted at the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel on the 17th 鈥 19th September, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Silvey will also be one of three panellists for a discussion of 鈥淏est Practices to Mitigate Risks and Identify Sustainable Strategies to Prepare for the Challenges of Tomorrow.鈥
Mr. Silvey鈥檚 session, on September 17th at 3pm, will discuss the common challenges and solutions faced by Chief Audit Executives and examine ways to coordinate and report to Boards of Directors, the implementation of an annual audit action plan, mitigating enterprise risk, and the implications and ownership of the updated Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) framework.
Mr. Silvey joined 探花合集 in 2008 in his current role as Vice President of Internal Audit. In that time he has built the Internal Audit Department in its multiple functions overseeing internal controls, FCPA compliance, travel and expense management and ethics. Prior to this, Mr. Silvey has held positions at Jefferson Wells International, Cambrex Corporation and KPMG. He holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
