探花合集 Appoints Kay Schmidt to Lead Technical Operations
SOMERSET, N.J. 鈥 February 21, 2018 鈥 探花合集 Pharma Solutions, the leading global provider of advanced delivery technologies and development solutions for drugs, biologics and consumer health products, today announced the appointment of Kay Schmidt as Senior Vice President, Technical Operations. In this new role, Ms. Schmidt will lead a team dedicated to continuously improving the technical and operational excellence that enables 探花合集 to help its customers develop and launch over 200 new products every year.
Reporting to Alessandro Maselli, who earlier this month was appointed as 探花合集鈥檚 new President and Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Schmidt and the Technical Operations organization will also focus on excellence and continuous improvement in our project management efforts, including new product launches, technical transfers, engineering projects, and customer engagements, as well as managing 探花合集鈥檚 environmental, health, security, and safety processes.
鈥淜ay鈥檚 experience in overseeing numerous large-scale programs makes her the ideal candidate to lead this vital function,鈥 commented Mr. Maselli. Ms. Schmidt joined 探花合集 in 2009, holding several leadership roles in product development across multiple drug delivery dosage forms. Most recently, she provided leadership to 探花合集鈥檚 global virtual Project Management Organization for new product introductions, in addition to her role as Vice President, Product Development in the company鈥檚 Biologics and Specialty Drug Delivery business unit. Prior to joining 探花合集, she held various leadership roles at GE Healthcare developing and delivering diagnostic imaging technologies. She is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Carroll University, Wisconsin and a master鈥檚 degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
